We love walking on the beach but...
Anyone who visits the beach knows the ritual: thongs off at the sand, hands full with maybe coffee, dog lead, phone, keys and now what to do with your sandals? Carry them? Stuff them down your shorts? Or leave them behind for them to maybe not be there when you get back.
That dilemma got us thinking - there has to be a better way.
We wanted to have our sandals with us for when we left the beach at the other end, but we got fed up with having to stick them down our shorts or carry them and wanted our hands free to carry coffee and hold Dax's lead.
We looked around to see if anything could solve our problem but there was nothing out there.
Thats when the Sandal Handle was born, right here on the Gold Coast.
What started as an idea became a lightweight 3D-printed clip that attaches to your sandal strap and hooks to your shorts, bag, or belt loop in seconds keeping your hands completely sandal free.
Now we can walk Dax without carrying our thongs, stuffing them down our shorts, or leaving expensive sandals behind at the entrance to the beach.
Then when we get to our favourite cafe for breakfast, our thongs are right there with us.
It really did change beach walks for us, and now we want to bring that change to everyone who has ever gotten frustrated with carrying their sandals.
Every single Sandal Handle is designed and printed locally. We’re not a faceless warehouse operation - we’re a small Gold Coast business that genuinely cares about the product we make and the people who use it.
